Young Life's work
Young people ages 11–24 make up nearly a quarter of the world's population — almost 2 billion people. Today's kids are encountering anxiety, depression, loneliness, isolation, abuse, violence and suicidal tendencies at unprecedented rates, lacking a real foundation of hope and love in their lives.
Young Life is on a mission to change that
Kids respond to genuine friendship where they feel seen and known. Trained, vetted volunteer adult leaders care about kids, share their faith, and are endorsed and supported by local Young Life committees. Through the lives of volunteers, kids have the chance to hear and see how faith, hope and love can impact their lives.
Each year, we review 12 new initiatives across the global mission and vote quarterly to direct our collective funds for maximum impact.
